Digital Multimetres?.

After 20+yrs my analogue multimeter has gone to needle waving heaven. So I headed over to Ebay to find a digital replacement but found so much choice I was unsure what to buy. Considering I use a multimeter very rarely and only to check speaker wires, guitar cables, pickups etc I do not want to go spending a lot, so could someone with more knowledge recommend me an adequate budget model capable of most guitar/amplifier jobs?.

If you just want to check cables, get a Behringer or Studiospares cable tester. Otherwise you can get a functional digital multi meter for £10-£15 from most DIY places.
