best blank white vinyl printer paper to print your own sticker ?

As title ,i need to print out a couple of stickers to go on a guitar , not waterslide decal ,just your bog standard vinyl sticket.

I've heard white vinyl is better than clear as clear will show the guitar background , 

And is the cheap printer vinyl stuff nearly as good as the expensive?  

Its for a cheap basher guitar so does not need to be super quality.
