Thanks for that - that is a different mic - SM7B studio mic - I am looking for the dual diaphragm KSM 7. Thanks again though.

@oktorockto I think you’re going to struggle mate.. as Shure don’t make a KSM7! give us some clues to which mic you are on about and I can try and guide you to the right model name. Have worked for Shure dealers for the last decade!

I meant the KSM 8 (just edited the OP title - thanks @bob21) ; but could be interested in a KSM 9 as well. The KSM 8 is the dual diaphragm dynamic whilst the KSM 9 is a condenser.

KSM8’s are bloody lovely.. but I’ve not seen any for sale used at all so far, they’re still a really new mic and highly in demand!! 

KSM9’s come up every so often.. Somewhat of a difference between the two.. For a lot of voices I’d be looking to push up to a Neumann 104/5 or a DPA D:Facto instead though..

DPAs rarely fail to impress. I have a pair of 4099s and some 4060s - very good indeed.
