Dunno how I got roped into this thread, my only contribution on the subject of toaster-purchasing is procrastinating so long that the one I wanted to buy went out of production.
That said, I do have a very smart, and fashionable Hinari toaster I might be persuaded to let go.......................
Easy really, everyone 'needs toast', some one wrote a song about that didn't they?
I recently spent £5 on a metal contraption for toasting bread on a gas stove in my camper. It has proved to be the worst investment of my life (the toaster, not the camper).
Bread can be on there for 10 mins without even a hint of toasting. Unlike your finger if you touch it, which gets toasted to death in 1 nano second
