Help buying a Mac

I know its been asked before but I’m looking at buying a Mac. It’ll be used for home recording and video tuition. Budget of around £700. Looking on Music Magpie atm.  Help?

Is it just for video tuition and recording because if so you will get by fine on a 2010 Imac running Reaper and probably only need to spend £250 tops 
If you want the latest iTunes and have to have the latest OSX all the time then buy a 2015 upwards

Personally, I'd be putting more money into better owl/canine habitat improvement (loving what you are doing)    :-D

Ah yeah your right and I knew that but I forgot and actually spent a few minutes looking for it the other night when my missus wanted some music put on here phone. In the end I used Copy Trans manager. I hate iTunes with a passion but use it to restore borked iPhones so still have various incarnations on various machines

Believe me, they have a better set up than I do

Remember that the keyboards on MacBook Pro’s from 2015 have the somewhat problematic butterfly design.
