To Treble Bleed Or Not?

My problem with treble bleed kits I’ve tried on my strats and teles isn’t around 5-8, it’s right at the bottom end of the volume knob’s travel. I rely upon the beautiful warm sound (but still nice and sparkly clean) at the very end of the travel. With any treble bleed I’ve tried, this sound becomes too bright and brittle.

i do, however, have treble bleeds on some of my humbucking guitars.
