Recommendation for volume pot cleaner

Hi,

can anyone recommend a spray cleaner to use to clean a "scratchy" guitar volume pot .

I brought some contact cleaner sometime ago from Maplin which I used to clean a pot on an amp which worked but left the pot a little "loose" when turning so suspect it also removed some lubrication and wanted to avoid this.
