A quick 'n dirty side project here - I'm sending an Esquire in kit form up to my boy, something for him to do and his birthday's coming up and we can't see him.
He likes beaten up stuff so that helped.. not happy with the body but it's not the slightest attempt to be hyper-real let alone take time & care, a starting point at least for him - he likes to stick all sorts of odds & ends to his built guitars. This is his, cost £70 all in, rough as it looks he's gigged and studio recorded with it.
The bridge pickup btw is a GFS "P90" which sounded shit and nothing like a P90, mainly because taking the cover off showed a Strat coil on a wide baseplate. It's now got a great hard clangy brassy sound.

Day 4, age the stuff I forgot before and drill neck & fit parts etc
The nitro's too fresh too surrender to the freezer for checking up so it'll have to do.
As it's built from parts I'm not sticking my logo anywhere, though I like something on the head, he likes the parts blank look so all good.
All up weight is 5.4lbs.

Ageing on the hardware looks good.
