Open D tuning - what gauge strings should I go for?

DADF#AD tuning. On an electric that normally I have strung with 10-46 for standard tuning or Eb standard. 

what should I go up to? It’ll always stay in this tuning and mostly slide but also using my fingers. Happy to recut the nut or replace it.

I use 10' - 46's for my D'tuna

If normally using 10s in standard I’d maybe go to 11s and see how you get on. I wouldn’t go higher unless you’re finding slide really rattly

I use 11s in D standard if that helps

52-11 or possibly 52-10 dependent on scale length

Thanks all. Think I’ll try 11-52 as I might try dropping the tuning down half a step as well. Would love to try Joey Landreth style open C (CGCEGC I think), but that looks impossible without going crazy heavy.
