Dear Mods: Please feel free to reinstate content.

The system isn't allowing me to even change just the title to 'Withdrawn' - even if I do not change any of the text in the main body of my post.

It keeps saying 'Body is 1944 characters too long' - and no matter what I do I don't seem to be able to resolve the problem.

I've retained all the sold items below

My apologies…

Haven’t thought about it - it’s an Ultralight 1pc Solid Swamp Ash body at something like 1.3kg. Unlikely that I’d get an appropriate price for it...

I'm planning to use Wudtone on a new build.
Is the as soft as nitro? Does it dumpen vibrations like poly?

No actually - I think the finish is very thin, and the instrument resonates beautifully. I've never done a wudtone finish myself - but I have three wudtone finished instruments, and they sound as resonant as any of my nitro finished guitars...

Tempting ..... Like the 16" radius and Stainless steel 6100 frets.
     I presume it's nitro'ed ? Any sense of stickiness .... ?

I have a MiM Deluxe Roadhouse that I'm thinking of changing the neck. Has a contoured heel so would need a slight mod ....

    Nitrocellulose - not sticky (IMO)

For the Roadhouse Stratocaster I think it would require one re-positioned screw hole...

What did you prefer about the gotoh vs wudtone. Tuning, tone or feel or all?

The Gotoh stays in tune better.

    Tonally, both sound very nice.

If you’re fitting 5 springs and decking the tremolo, then it doesn’t make a difference at all. Pick which ever one you like the look of.

If however you intend to float the tremolo, then there is no comparison at all re: tuning stability. This does not apply to the standard steel block that comes with the Gotoh - for some strange reason that is a conventional block with holes at the top for the strings to emerge.

That’s why I got Kevin Hurley to make me a steel block with the FST mechanism. The zinc block sounds nice too (great for bluesy playing) but I like the brightness that comes with steel...

    Hope this helps...
