Decided to upgrade my studio mic to a Neumann U87 and due to an unexpected turn of events I have ended up with 2!!! As a result I am advertising for sale my 1987ai which was the first year of the ai model. I owned a Shure KSM9 previously and have also tried a Neumann TLM-103 but these U87 mics really are incredible, a different level and I cannot recommend them enough. I bagged an earlier vintage U87 which I would maybe consider selling and keep the ai as there is not much between them to my ear. My preference is to keep the older one but feel free to try me on it if you prefer.
Anyway back to the one for sale, good all round condition for its age and perfect working order comes with plastic case.
