Hello,
So I got my new p 90 today fitted with no problems, in the process the top E and B snapped, and as I'm having to wait till Monday for new strings, I went on the local fb group and someone offered some strings in trade for some potatoes as they could not get out of the house, so social distancing adhered too and anti bac wipes used, the deal was done.
however... they are clearly acoustic strings, but I thought I only need the high E and B so they will do till next week. Popped them on and the high e is significantly lower in output than the others through the amp on both pickups

.
Have a messed something up when changing the pickup or is it down to the acoustic strings?
Any ideas?
Additionally the new B is not doing the same as the new E
