I've wanted to get a proper recording of this guitar. This is as "proper" as my interface is capable of at this point...

Sounds great dude !...from a mix view personal I would EQ the guitar a little to make it a little lighter and probably add a little verb.

Otherwise....good job !

I really appreciate the constructive feedback, cheers man! 

I'd considered reverb on the guitar but when I tried it, it seemed a bit washed out. I expect that's because of how high it was in the mix? 

Had a crack at EQ'ing the guitar - I think that could do with more work!

Yeah....Verb on the guitar would be almost unnoticeable TbH, I would just try it to give it a lift.
