darn it! Fretboard radius block isn't big enough!

OK, so I'm making a 5 string bass as per my other thread. I was planning on using my usual 9.5" radius block, but having just checked, it is not wide enough for the body end of the neck. Most annoying!
Is there anywhere that sells wider blocks for just such an eventuality? A quick skim of the internet didn't reveal anything, so I just thought I'd see if anyone here had any ideas. Otherwise it will be getting in touch with various sellers asking for dimensions I guess.
