Japanese built Lowdens

Think early 80’s built Lowden guitars were produced under licence in Japan, possibly by Yairi. Anyone own one, how have they held up over the years, is the resale value as good as the later Irish builds?

The resale value is much lower, however they are excellent guitars. I used to own one and the guy I sold it to likes it very much.
