Fender Korean E Series black Strat body. Genuinely roadworn with masses of mojo. All solid wood which from the neck pocket looks like alder.

Believed to have been played by the spirit of Hendrix himself, although provenance cannot be verified, hence special selling price of £85 (was £99) delivered to your door.

Any questions please ask.

Many thanks

Thanks guitargeek62! That's what I thought at first, but I sought a second opinion. I should have stuck with my initial instinct.

    Post amended accordingly.

Looks a very nice project for someone, I've just finished a black strat (of sorts) though!  I like the rug too lol

What is where the 2nd pot was?  Is it a little toggle or something?

The shaft of the 2nd pot is shorn
off. It gives it more of an extreme relic vibe. In addition, the reduced mass combined with the inability to roll the tone off quite literally impacts upon the tone. This ensures a consistent high end sparkle from the bridge pickup, which is most desirable in stratocasters, and guaranteed to make whomever buys this instantly more attractive, successful and popular.

Seriously though, the pots and switch have seen better days, and I was going to use them to practice my soldering.

The pickups are ceramic, probably the same as similar MIJ strats of that era. From what I remember they sounded pretty good. I'm happy to chuck them in for free along with the scratchplate as a deal sweetener.

    P.S

Doodlegame, the rug is not for sale individually as it belongs to part of an eclectic set coupled with the stool. However, I may be willing to negotiate a deal if you want both.

Trade for a nice tenor ukulele, or maybe a univibe or loop pedal with cash either way.

Thank you very much for the offer, but I don't think that I would get the use out of it.

Honestly I'd totally go for a deal with the rug too if it weren't for this project I've just finished...

Have a loaded red metallic Tele body if that's of any interest as I have a strat neck and a gotoh tremolo desperate for a home.

I don't really need another tele to be honest, but please send me some pics and I'll give it some thought.

Thank you, I am genuinely flattered by all these compliments, and delighted that the intended effect of creating continuity between the scattered patch cables and skirting board has been achieved.
