Primer for guitar

Hi all,

This might sound stupid but I'm not scared. 

I've stripped an old ply guitar body down to the ply. I've got some racing green rustoleum spray paint and clear gloss spray paint for the final finish but prior to that I'm going to slap a primer on it..... How would some white emulation be before I apply my base spray?

Make sure everything you use is compatible. You should probably use Rustoleum Sealer and clear with your Rustoleum colour.
