Is this teak or mahogany

Any wood connoisseurs out there that can tell me what this is? I've got two big planks of it about 6ft x 2ft that came out of a hospital that was built in 1906. Might be of use to someone on here.

Looks like iroko to me.

But it can sometimes be hard to tell.

Makes good wood blocks for percussionists.

I did build a 7 string tele out of it.  Had to hollow it for weight and it was still a bit too bright for my tastes but worked for the style.... Still horrible to work

I’m not surprised, the two big sheets weigh an absolute tonne, so dense.
