self build acoustic panels

Im going to take some panels, probably 1200 x 400 x 50mm deep to hang on the walls.

 Im using Rockwoll RWA45 acoustic, bu do you think 50mm nice fit, or 75mm squeezed in ?

If you compress the Rockwool it won't do its job effectively, so don't squish it.

All things being equal, 75mm nice fit > 50mm nice fit > 75mm squished.
