Where can I get a back plate for this?

Okay. 

Get a piece of paper and hold it against the cavity. You can keep it in place using masking tape. Press all round so you get an impression of the edges. Cut round the impressed line and check your template fits in the hole. Adjust as necessary.

Use spray adhesive to stick your template to a sheet of pickguard material, The clear film on the plastic will protect it.

Use a jigsaw to cut close to your template then finish by sanding using a block up to the edge. Scrape the edges clean using a Stanley blade.

Drill holes in the appropriate places and countersink them.
