If i didn't already like them and hadn't listened to their albums a thousand times already and only heard this, I'd have thought they were a bit sloppy with an amateur guitarist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a huge Zeppelin fan... it has always pained me to say that the gig really wasn't very good. Sorry...

I think Earls Court was the turning point in Jimmys guitar playing deteriorating. I’ve always assumed it was associated with drug intake. Prior to Earls Court he was much better.

I think the years of excess showed pure and simple. They weren’t on it that night.

I've heard every led zep bootleg under the sun - i have them all stashed away on cassette/cd - they're very much hit and miss, though leaning mostly towards the former. They certainly could have done without all them drum/guitar solos that went on for 45 minutes in some cases. Tbh they were just used to allow time for other members of the band to retreat backstage for a blowjob and a top up of the old blow, probably off some groupie's tits.

I would give my drummer a 45 min solo if that was on the menu
