I've noticed a couple of mentions of the Revelation Marrakesh in the last few months, and having watched a video I thought that it might be fun to try, so I spent a while yesterday and today adding 7 new frets to my skip-found Westone Thunder 1-A.

I've not tried it out properly yet, but I reckon it'll be fun once I get my head round it.

What tuning do you plan to keep the guitar in now?

No idea - it's currently in std.

I haven't gone as far as to find out if there's a preferred tuning for such things

One of my favourite guitarists had his guitar fretted like yours and I saw the theory for the scales he used and it blew my mind!

Aside from that for theory, Arabic music use quarter tones but again the theory makes my head hurt!

Interesting - I shall no doubt explore tunings along with everything else once I've spent some time with it in std. tuning.

Tuning to the 4.5th fret instead of the 5th might be amusing

Once it gets detuned and mucked about by various pedals it should make for a delightful sound.

I've swapped the P90 for the Monty's PAF (as no-one's shown any interest) and it sounds very nice indeed
