TRRS mics are great!

After wrestling with USB Audio interfaces, latency, and mounds of wires for years. I finally got an iPad (with Garageband pre-installed) and a TRRS compatible mic, namely the RODE Videomic ME.
For the dinosaurs like me, a TRRS jack is a normal headphone 3.5mm jack that doubles as a mic jack.
What an absolute revelation. Plugs directly in. No power needed. Job Done! Check out my full review here, I'm chuffed to bits with it!
