Any success with Guitar Amp DI into Audio Interface and an IR Loader in DAW?

Has any one had any success with a Guitar Amp DI  into Audio Interface and an IR Loader in DAW?

My setup is an JCM 800 using the DI and Marshall Code also using the DI into my Audient ID 14 into pro tools using the MIX IR or MIKKO Plug in.

Absolutely! Using two notes wall of sound, it’s great! If the di is speaker emulated I just cut above 15k ish to get rid of the fizz

A lot of line-out from amps is before power section, so you might fancy amp simulation before speaker IR

Good point @pintspiller .. I’m not working in sales for two notes but there wall of sound plugin has power amp sim built in, it really is very good!

Yep... a regular method.  My marshall DSL has their emulated DI out which is Ok but a bit fizzy.  I add some cab IRs in the DAW that adds the tone back.  I don’t like it into the PA and keep looking at a IR pedal with cab / mic models and switchable power sections.

That'd be really confusing as there are loads on here - myself included

I also use TwoNotes Wall Of Sound, but I'm using a Captor for taking the speaker output.  My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
