Where would you put studio desk and monitors in this room?

Here is what I'm dealing with.



I've ripped out the wardrobes in the larger alcove. I now need to figure out where I'm gonna put my desk and monitors. 

As I see it I've got four options:

1 - Spread across the bay window
2 - Across the top wall behind the door
3 - Across the right hand wall, but door proximity may be an issue
4 - Desk up against the chimney breast, speaker either side, then the whole thing pulled forward so the speakers aren't inside the alcoves. But this wall connects to a neighbour.

I've got 8 broadband absorption panels to play with too.

Bay window probably- you could get absorption on the side walls, ceiling and rear wall.
That room is tricky though.

Did a whole bunch of listening tests tonight. Bay window sounded the best for low-end. Very clear, no reflections coming back from the window as such. To expected really given that speakers don't put much highs out the rear, and that glass mainly reflects highs.

Which is all just as well, because it was my preferred spot!

Yes that is what I thought would happen.
Get some thick drapes.
