Definitely compare specs on Dimarzios website. A lot of it is marketing bs as some pickups are extremely similar. SD is guilty of selling the same wind but with different magnets for their custom series humbuckers

DD = JB with different magnet also. Fair point that Dimarzio seem to have been releasing new similar products eg various PAF Pro variants for Satriani. I broadly know what I’m after though
