2013 Fender 1965 Closet Classic Custom Team Built Stratocaster Ltd Edition #044 

This guitar was part of a limited run by the Custom Shop as shown on the second certificate. 

Verified by Fender as 1 of 5 built in this colour – Faded Candy Apple Red Nitro with Lacquer Checking and lightly tarnished hardware 

Alder Body 

Maple neck with Dark Rosewood Fretboard – Nitro Finish 

1965 C shape neck profile, 9.5 Radius fretboard with 6105 frets 

Mother of Pearl dot inlays 

1965 Strat Pickups w/RWRP Middle pickup 

Built on 08/2013 

Mod Strat wiring carried out at the Fender Custom Shop as noted on the Shop floor traveller spec sheet obtained from Fender for this guitar – Tone control for bridge pickup. 

Ashtray bridge cover and tremolo. 

All case candy consisting of:

I bought this when I was living in New Zealand but has only been played around half a dozen times, I love the sound of the Strat and the neck profile but the overall ergonomics puts too much strain on my wrists.....I’m a Sg/335 guy.

I’d prefer not to post but I’m visiting my in-laws in Strood, Rochester on Saturday if that’s any help? Otherwise happy to meet halfway up to 100 miles.
