iLoud Micro Monitor mic stand thread busted!!!

So I purchased some K&M 23250 mic stands with the correct thread size for my iLouds. I’ve screwed one stand in successfully but when I attempted the other with hardly any force the speaker thread Insert on the iLoud speaker is now buggered and spinning around... has anyone else encountered this? The plastic seems very brittle to me... now pondering if I should contact Juno Records/IK media to report this possible fault. To me the screw thread on the iLoud speaker seems way too shallow to fit securely on to any mic stand.

Oof, well if it's as delicate as you say it'll be worth getting in touch I think. If Juno won't cover it now then probably IK will

Don't lie, just say you bought it, didn't test the threaded stand element of it until now and it looks like it has a manufacturing fault.
It should still be under warranty, companies deal with this stuff all the time.
If Juno don't resolve it then speak to IK.

I have found IK to be good at customer service - the interconnect cable on my iLouds failed. IK sent me another. Contact them.

I had the exact problem. My issue was an intermittent cable. I really dislike their proprietary cable but fortunately, I was covered under warranty. Just hope it doesn't break again...
