Izotope rx8 audio splitting capability?

Has anyone got it? Is it as good at splitting a mixed audio file into separate parts using the “Music rebalance“ feature as this video implies? If it is are there any discount codes around?

Haven't tried the RX implementation, but I have used a few other variants. Generally they work well if what you want to do is slightly change the balance -- eg make the vocals louder or quieter within a track -- but if you want to completely isolate or mute elements of mixed audio there will be a ton of artifacts.
