I figured I might as well try it on my MacBook Pro 2012 8gb 250ssd seeing as it’s free for 90 days
it will only be for doing YouTube covers on guitar to backing track
and basic demos . Been watching some videos and it seems good
plus I have the dummies guide on my iPad .
Im assuming the add ons you can download you can tailor to your needs
eg download extra guitar related stuff etc but ignore various loops for genres not interested in.
extra drummers might be cool ,bass etc
i suppose if if someone mentions something in a video that takes your fancy you can download it as needed later.

I would try and keep all libraries on an external drive, it can cause complications, but the basic programme has a lot of very useful features.
It is not easy to just dip into though, there's a lot of under the hood stuff happening, and the interface can be very frustrating when you don't use it a lot.
