The original prototype of my 'Gretsch style' classic Cow-Tron ... in Gretsch size 'american mount' to suit for example a Cabronita Tele etc
We do them a little bit differently in the baseplate now ... but they have that 'Classic' low output, woody tone.

Bugger - to late to see this - Need a pair of similar mini-humbuckers for a LP Deluxe that needs putting back to 'original' - Need the surrounds as well

Yep it's wound counterclockwise ... which is correct. Fender has changed its mind several times in its history ... but for the longest period of time they wound that way. I use this to match with several other makers ... Seymour Duncan for one.
