Great North Road Video 1939

Following on from @RandallFlagg 60's video.

This is a wonderful piece of footage and it looks like high Summer, so before WW2 declaration was announced in September.

It made me wonder if people knew there would be a War very soon, I mean before Germany actually invaded Poland? They must have suspected things weren't going to end well, what with the rise of Hitler in the 1930's? A matter of when, not if?

Anyway, I noticed there is a lot less Litter at the side of the roads and not as much Graffiti

Surprising how much traffic there is at times. 

But bloody hell some of those YouTube comments, some worrying people out there.
