Tracking down a guitar model

I am convinced it existed.

Basically an orange sunburst electro acoustic cutaway, NYLON, with slotted soundholes. Now I thought it was a washburn but the only washburns I can find online that meet this description are the EA36 - except not nylon and from what I remember, too many slots.

Era is mid 90s, I think. I am sure that the Lead vocalist/guitarist from Golden Burn, a band who played around Cornwall in the 00's had one.

It's driving me nuts. Anyone confirm this and help me out with a model?

Godins have slots for the slider controls. The original Acousticaster had these in a plastic plate covering the control cavity, current ones have the slots cut out of the top. No way are they soundholes though.

I recall the Washburns with 4 or 5 diagonal slotted holes. Keith Richards played a nylon-string electro in the 80s, it’s on the I-Max DVD, but can’t be sure of the make.

I’ve got a few copies of Guitar Player from the 80s - I’ll have a quick look later.

Not Godin. Pretty sure of that.

It looks similar to this.

But nylon. And I am sure a different top wood (I think that is laminate, in this instance)

There was definitely a review on this same guitar in a mag in the 90s also.

UK or US mag? I’ve got Guitarist mags back to 1984!

Good question. I can't remember if it was guitarist Mag or that paper that used to be given out in th shops - the one with the Guitar Guru guy.

I've had a look in a couple of Guitar Worlds form 94 and Guitarists for 96 and 97 - nothing.
