Small desktop mixer with good preamps?

That one's also not-so-compact. Maybe there's a smaller brother in the same range? I'll measure the space - it's between A5 and A4.

I have that very Mackie mixer and it’s been great so far, haven’t really tested the onyx preamps properly but it sounds great is very compact and feels very well made. Here it is on my rather messy desk.

Sorry I read wrong!! my bad!! mines the 8 channel

Thanks for the info. I have found a slightly used 402 (£40 = more to spend on not-sure-what-yet). It should be on the way to me this week.
