Thunderbolt Cables

I would like to buy a spare Thunderbolt cable - and since they're all made in china anyway, I though I'd pick me up something like this for £5:

However, it also says in the description that the cable 'will not transfer data like hard drives':

So does that mean I can't use it with a Thunderbolt audio interface?

Every time I've used a cheap Thunderbolt cable it has been frustrating and shit.
Just get a proper one and save yourself the hassle.

It’s not a thunderbolt cable, even though that’s what it says it is.  It’s a display port cable whence isn’t the same

Startech Thunderbolt cable. They're cheaper than the Apple ones and work well.
