My middle finger is swollen

I had a drunken knock to the hand and it was swollen the next day, and painful.  Left it a week before seeing docs (stupid me).

Pinky is broken completely, and it a splint for a least 2 months, may even need an operation.

I've never had a doc be mad at me for a visit.  I was sat in fracture clinic with people looking rough, with me and my pinky ha.  They were great

Self  diagnoses and medication is the worst thing to do.
Just chop it off no more problem.

make sure the knife is blunt and rusty first

To reduce swelling, hold it upright, and close the other fingers into a loose fist.  Then show it to Boris. At least hold it like that in his general direction.

I prob will do if it doesn't settle down in a day or 2 as apparently can sometime need antibiotics to clear it up

if it is an infection, the home remedy round our way would have been a bread poultice job. Hottest/as close to boing water as you could bear, and keep soaking it until the heat did its work.

Welp swelling is getting slowly worse so filled in the 32000 page line questionnaire to get a phone consult. Apparently I'll get a call back before cob tomorrow.

My typing's always been a bit dodgy - might be something to do with with all of the scar tissue from scalds on 'em..

And pencilin it is with possible lancing if it doesn't improve by friday...its an extremely annoying place to have an injury.
