WTB PRS SE or cheap USA model

Hi all. 

I have never had a PRS and it’s about time I found out what the fuss is about. 

Testing the water to see if anyone around Manchester has either an SE or an inexpensive s2 or CE. 

Budget around £400 for a decent SE. Potentially have more for a USA model. All conditions considered depending on price. 

What you got?

I have both a PRS Core model and a Korean built SE...The Core cost 5 times as much as the SE, the SE is at least 80% as good as the Core. Neither for sale but hopefully help you decide.

The Se range are brilliant apart from the pickups imho so just buy mine, all that hard work has been done for you

Realistically, the only ways you will get an "inexpensive" S2, CE or American-made EG are if it is beaten to a pulp, has a headstock break or is stolen. Probably, all three!

Quoted for truth. Single cutaway PRS SE guitars gel very well with P90 pickups. I already have two that adhere to this formula. I am tempted to acquire a third.

Quoted for truth. Single cutaway PRS SE guitars gel very well with P90 pickups. I already have two that adhere to this formula. I am tempted to acquire a third.

Thanks for the info. For the right USA I could budget for around 1k.

Totally agree regards the SE and P90 formula
also Peach Guitars (Brilliant company and great set ups - no affiliation) have a few S2’s for £1K brand new

Due to the lockdown at the beginning of the year I never managed to get a PRS. 

Now things are a bit more normal still looking. 

A nice Custom 24 SE or a CE24 or even a US Custom 24 if the price is right. Looking for something with with a nice flame too. 

Manchester or close to Manchester preferably

I was never keen on them. Then I played a PRS SE 245 with P90s which I’m not keen on. And I was really impressed , there are some great 2nd hand bargains . The Bernie marsden ones look cool.  They seem so well made  you can’t go wrong
