Driving me mad this. Another company did an external DSP + plugins solution very similar to the UAudio stuff a number of years ago but it was discontinued (I assume because UAudio captured most of the non pro tools market). Can't for the life of me remember who, even though I had some of their stuff. Can anyone else?

    Didn't know that antelope did a similar thing. 

    Managed to answer my question with some ever stranger web searches and I was thinking of the TC Electronic powercore
