Unexpected use for a Clip on contact microphone.

Some years ago I got a tuner for my acoustic guitar.  It has a clip on transducer that connects to the tuner by means of a short cable.  Something similar to but not as sophisticated as this: https://www.gear4music.ie/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/Korg-CM300-Clip-On-Contact-Microphone-Black/2K0Z

I clipped it on to the headstock of my Tele and plugged it into my Pignose amp.  I did not expect much but it gave a surprising sound.  With my main amp on the ground and the Pignose on the computer table, I got a good spread of sound.  With the addition of a little Reverb from a pedal [on the main amp], I got a lusher sound than I expected.

The clip on transducer would not be practical for gigging but using it and the standard cable from the guitar into two [even mini amps] gives a more interesting sound than that from a single amp, and a sound that makes practicing just a little easier.

Definitely worth checking out.  IMHO.
