Revv D20 - Two Notes

Looking for some expert advice here. I have a Revv D20 and I run it direct into my Focusrite 2i2 and I wonder how much more improvement I can do. The Revv D20 includes Two Notes Torpedo inside and I am able to run impulse responses and cabinet emulation. 

I am kicking around either upgrading from a Focusrite to something else, or adding a Warm Audio WA-73. Has anyone run a direct cab solution into a mic preamp? Or is anyone having good success with another interface? I don't hate the Focusrite, just trying to improve. Would a preamp even make sense with this setup?

I think the difference would be marginal at best. Especially as I would assume you are not actually amplifying the signal before converting. I eod imagine this is a line level scenario.

The focusrite mic pres are just fine.  I have a golden age mic pre, and just record guitars direct to my interface.  The difference will be very small
