I've been looking out for one of these for a while and finally managed to get my greasy mitts on one. As the blurb says on the website its based around the tubescreamer and you can tell that straight away when you plug it in as it has a similar mid hump. However the Clean control lets you blend in your original signal so you can reduce the mids and bring in more bass (if thats how your amp is set up), infact if you turn the knob fully anticlockwise then theres nothing going through the effect and you can turn the pedal on or off with no change to the sound. The overall sound seems generally fuller, and there's more output and gain available than a normal TS. The tone control is more powerful and really seems to bring in more highs or lows depending on how its set, rather than just darkening or sharpening the sound. The pots feel really smooth and good quality, i think its true bypass. So overall i like it, feels like a real step up from a TS.
