    I couldn't give a rats arse about clean or headroom btw. My guitars have vol knobs. I just need to be able to plug in and 'do the thing' in a public house.

    i plug straight into my Orange Th30, wack it up and control dirt from the Les Paul.

    yes, this thing is loud. I have cranked inthe studio only through 2x12 and it was too loud for practise. I think your needs will be met quite well by this amp really
