Akai MPC One Professional Sampling Station
The Akai MPC One Sampling Station is a professional stand-alone Sampling Workstation with a 7” full colour Multi-Touch Display and runs without computer connection. It has the well-known workflow of the MPC Series and is very result-oriented with both functions and features. Trend-setting performance possibilities together with the seamlessly integrated MPC Software, it is the central tool on-stage and in the studio.
High-Resolution Display
The top area of the Akai MPC One is dominated by a 7” full colour Multi-Touch Display. Editing MIDI events, adding Effects, editing Step Sequences, arranging, Sampling and much more is done intuitively from this Display.
Illuminated Pads
Using the 16x Velocity-Sensitive Pads, notes are fed into the sequencer of the Akai MPC One and the sounds are triggered. For greater visibility the Pads are backlit in RGB colours.
The MPC One & Modular Systems
8x freely configurable CV/Gate Outputs allow for the connection of the Akai MPC One and a Modular System. Other Synthesizers with CV/Gate Inputs can also be controlled by the MPC One in this way.
Storage Capacity
The Akai MPC One offers an internal Storage Capacity of 2GB whilst the size of the main Memory is 2GB RAM. Additional Samples can be stored on an SD Card if so desired (not included). 2x USB 2.0 slots for external hard disks or the connection to MIDI controllers are available as additional interfaces.
Plug-In Synthesizers
The Akai MPC One includes 3x powerful Plug-In Synthesizers - Tubesynth, Bassline and Electric, which can be used as full-fledged Instruments without the need for a computer connection.
Tubesynth
AIR TubeSynth emulates the sound of classic Analogue Polysynths combined with 5x integrated AIR Effects. The Synthesizer contains all important parameters in great detail in a special graphical user interface on the Touch Displays of MPC Live and MPC X. TubeSynth was developed by AIR Music Tech and is based on the same Analogue Modelling technology found in the Vacuum Pro. The layout has been adapted to provide convenient control via the MPC Q-Links. Tubesynth is equipped with an extensive collection of pre-set sounds including wide floating pad sounds, hard plucks, vibrating basses and expressive leads.
Bassline
AIR Bassline emulates the sound of classic vintage mono synthesizers. It also includes 4x AIR Effects and 2x Distortion algorithms.
Electric
AIR Electric emulates the sounds of classic Electric Pianos.
