Won't be buying that again.

i-Mac bought in June 2011, as of July 2014 (one month after expiration) my wifi constantly disconnects. Fine on every other device. You'd think a quick call would be acceptable to see if I'm missing something out when trying to fix it. No. £35 charge for a one off phone call.

Will just go the Hackintosh route next time.

You could just plug another one in the USB port, would be cheaper than the call

But yeah your right, it does suck. That is pretty normal though to charge for tech support once warranty is over

I'm just fucked off, I know you have to have a cut off point, but 37 months when I paid extra for 36...call me paranoid but......

You can take it to an Apple Store and have a (so called) genius look at it for free.

Depends.

Sometimes they will- it depends on what the root cause of the problem is.

You need to book an appointment though- don't just show up.

Try turning off the 'Bluetooth' as there are a few issues with this under Mavericks. Where it will make the WIFi drop out.

Other than that its a case of get it repaired.

You could reset PMU and PRAM. But I doubt it will have much affect with WiFi. But still worth a shot.

I have avoided Mavericks like the plague. I also need bluetooth for magic mouse. 

I smell software bullshit as there was no issue until these pretty much forced spftware "upgrades" in the top right corner of my screen.
