FS: Old gibson Pickups, P90 & Melody Maker.

Gibson Dogear P90, 1968.

Measuring 8.2k ohms, this is one sweet pickup, but with all the growl you expect from an old P90.

In excellent condition, though the cover isn't original.

Melody maker loaded pickguard, 1965.

Complete pickguard  & electrics from 1965 Melody Maker.

Pots have been replaced at some point, but otherwise all original.

No idea what the relevance of the number beside the pickup is!

Sad to say but the jack socket and control knobs are not original either. The original pots should have metal pointers and black knobs with silver inserts.

None at all. It just makes that pickguard suitable for modification to accept a non-standard pickup. Its "precious" vintage originality status is already gorn. 

FWIIW, the bite mark midway between the tone control and the countersunk hole for a pickguard fastening screw was left by the short Vibrola arm screw.

What DC Resistance reading does the Skylark single coil pickup give?
