Hi All,
I hope you are all well.
Before Christmas I started a YT channel where I loosely review musical instrument auctions...... It's all kind of auctions but mostly stringed instruments of the bowed kind, but I cover anything including guitars and pianos.
The channel is called Musical Instrument Investigator
Below is a link to the first video, you can check the rest of them out through my channel.

The channel is very nerdy (quite boring ha ha) and the videos are quite long, it's like window shopping for instruments.
Where I can I try to impart some of my knowledge in the videos but my knowledge is quite broad and not that detailed at the moment. I trained as a musical instrument maker and engineer and have about 18 years or so of experience in those fields as well as academic qualifications.
I spent a good 6 years working for a music tech company, and now I work with historical musical instruments in a museum.
If you are bored feel free to look at my channel and feel free to provide feedback.
In the future I will try and do videos on specific instruments or instrument makers.
Thanks for your support!

Yes definitely niche ha ha.
Yes the volume is a bit low for sure. If you watch either of the two newest videos you will hear that I have upped the volume by 1db which I think makes enough of a different for the moment.
Everytime I do a video I try to change things and experiment and make little improvements.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out and I appreciate the feedback
If anyone is interested I am still doing this channel. Not much has changed other than I turned the volume up on my Microphone
I have just done a video covering an auction of loads of guitars and other things owned by Nile Rodgers. Check it out if you get a minute.
Thankies.
Latest video is about a Stradivari violin coming to auction, so not very guitar related

Until then here is a really short video about one of Kurt Cobain's guitars coming up for auction soon.
My latest video is about a concept regarding AI / Robot cello cases. All in good fun.
