Shipping to Germany - SORTED

A bit off topic but I need to send a package to Germany (roughly the size of a small amp head) and is 5kg.  It contains a car part and several firms won't carry them. DPD won't do and TNT want £49.  Any advice gratefully received.

Does it contain only the car part, or are there other things in there?

To answer @Roland's question, it is just the one part.  On Saturday I'd been using Parcelhero and this afternoon I tried Parcelmonkey.  Wow, what a difference.  £22 including insurance for £375 via Parcelforce and a really user-friendly website.  Had a question about the customs forms and they responded on-screen in about 30 seconds.  When I'd finished I got the tracking info and a transcript of the help chat in case I wanted it.  Parcel dropped at the Spar Post-Office on the way home and all is well.
