Both are reasonably rare and strangely both had Copyright name change issues .
I had the Tone King once upon a time and stupidly sold it .Great Marshall sound .

Just saying, the viceroy is not like the Mercury v - it’s closer to the rambler but slightly more forward

Thanks Warren , exactly what I would want but the last time I had one I paid just under half what this guy is  asking  !
Don't expect to get such a good deal again but the price of this is crazy

I agree mate, and it seems par for the course at the moment... crazy prices everywhere, and im not convinced they are selling...

I think a lot of Reverb ads are simply Punts.......no real intent to sell but if a mug pitches up at that sort of money once in a while then it's a done deal
.....Very much like Classic Cars ......doesn't matter if they sit in the collection for another 3 years but if somebody can't help themself and wants to give £40k more than the true value then they get sold

Not sure when you looked but it’s currently got a price drop to 1750. No idea what the going rate for these is. There was one on eBay recently for a grand but I think that got quickly withdrawn.
