@drofluf ; bought Newtone before mate, yes. They're not bad (I know of a lot worse!), but EJ16 suit this OM28 better.

Changed the Elixir 12s on my 6 month old Dowina this week.  Would love Elixir to do 11.5s  

tried some Martin 12s Flexible Core, which are supposedly lower tension, and which turn our to be Tommy Emanuel signature strings !?

they do seem slightly lower tension, but after 2 years with elixirs they are getting frustratingly grubby already, and squeak a lot
