Swapping pedal order pedal or switch?

markblackmarkblack Frets: 1591
Just wondered if there's anything people recommend for this so i can run my mood into my blooper or the other way round simply?

Can be a switch rather than a pedal as its for a table top set up?

Cheers

Mark

  • I'm using a Boredbrain Patchulator 8000:

    Has the advantage of being stereo. Might 4 times more jacks than you need though.

    It's not particularly complicated to make your own if you can solder and drill holes:

    I've made a couple myself- I think they both got dismantled for parts when I got my ES-5, which does the same job.

    The 4PDT switches are apparently not the most reliable- one of the ones I had broke. You could probably make a similar switch with relays if you were cleverer than me.

    That won't do order-swapping unfortunately...

    You can actually do it with a 3PDT. That surprised me at first too :).

    (Ignore the bypass switches.)

    ^ I think one pole of the 4PDT was just for the indicator LED, which is a useful thing to have.

    Or is it? If the difference between one order and the other is that hard to distinguish, is there any point in switching it?

    cheers @ICBM ;

    @english_bob I was thinking that - do it without the LED as it's just another thing to power.

    I used mine to swap a couple of Line 6 M5s between the beginning and the end of the signal chain so I could use the reverbs and delays. The different order was less obvious with some effects than with others, so it was useful to have the LED there. YMMV.
